To learn how to sign "Ride" in British Sign Language (BSL) there are different signs to different types of "Ride" To sign "Ride" when referring to riding a horse, non dominant hand in a closed fist with index finger pointing outwards and then dominant hand in a V handshape sitting directly on top. Then both hands need to be in closed fists on top of the other, and bring them up and down in unison. To sign "Ride" when referring to riding a bicycle, create an L handshape on both hands in front of your body index fingers pointing downwards and thumbs facing out. Move them in circular motions one after the other repeatedly. To sign "Ride" when referring to riding a motorbike, both hands in closed fists as if you were holding the handlebars of a motorbike, tilt your dominant wrist backwards as if you were revving the engine.
